Cunard Line Appoints Senior officers for Queen Elizabeth
Following the appointment of Captain Christopher Wells as Master of its new Queen Elizabeth, Cunard Line has appointed four more Senior Officers who will be onboard when the ship enters service in October 2010.

A trawlerman is trying to trace the owner of a digital camera after it was hauled from the Atlantic seabed in his nets with the photos still intact. Benito Estevez believes the camera was dropped overboard from the QM2 cruise liner in the middle of the Atlantic.

MSC Cruises to sail from Southampton
The Port of Southampton's status as one of the world’s key cruise ports has been underlined by recent news that MSC Cruises, the last of the industry’s 'Big Three' is to start major crusing operations from there next year. MSC Cruises is to base the 60,000-tonne MSC Opera in the city in 2011.
Fred. Olsen launches Haiti Appeal
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has started a collection on board each of its four ships for victims of the Haiti earthquake. Guests on board have expressed their desire to help raise funds for the disaster, so on-board collections have been set up. Guests can donate via their cabin accounts or simply by giving cash at Reception if they prefer.
